delicious. Content Director Krysia Bonkowski said:

“For two decades, the delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards have done what no other food industry awards program has done – acknowledge Australia’s finest producers; the quiet champions behind our leading chefs and restaurants.

“Our aim is to unearth the producers leading the way with their production ethos, cultivation and wild-catch practices. These producers show their commitment to sustainability, quality and community in everything they do.

“Last month, leading Australian chefs gathered in some of the country’s top restaurants to decide which producers would make it to the final round of judging. They were tasked with narrowing the list of nominees down to a handful of National Finalists, which we’ve revealed today.

“These finalists will now be put forward to the National Judging panel, who will meet today to begin their deliberations.

“Congratulations to all of our outstanding National Finalists – each year, the calibre of entries climbs higher.

“I also thank each of our judges for the time and commitment they dedicate to the awards each year – and to our naming rights partner Harvey Norman for their continued support of these awards.”

The 2025 National Finalists were decided by expert State Judging panels, which convened at special judging days hosted by top chefs across the country. From these judging days, National Finalists were named across four major categories – Dairy, Earth, Paddock and Sea.

Finalists now progress to a National Judging panel comprising some of Australia’s most renowned chefs – Alla Wolf-Tasker, Alex Prichard, Danielle Alvarez, Jo Barrett, Karena Armstrong, Lennox Hastie, Matt Moran, Matt Stone and Peter Gilmore. These judges will meet today at Gildas in Sydney’s Surry Hills to decide the 2025 National Trophy Winners and the 2025 Producer of the Year.

Chef Matt Moran said:

“I feel so honoured to be part of these awards. Each year I’m proud to celebrate the farmers, makers, growers and fishers who put the very best produce on our plates, and who make Australia one of the most exciting food destinations in the world. They are the backbone of our industry, consistently delivering outstanding produce.”

The 2025 National Trophy Winners and Producer of the Year Award will be announced at an exclusive delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards event in Sydney later this year.
